Every word Jim wrote was designed to impart a deeper understanding of the Word of God, for he understood that “man does not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds from the mouth of God.” Jim’s prayer was that the devotionals found in Legacies would serve as a companion to daily Bible study, and that its readers would approach his words with an open heart, allowing God to draw them into a deeper understanding of how He works in their lives.
